Mission
The 7 Seas Foundation serves as the financial catalyst for the 7 Seas Initiative and its global network of partners. Our mission is to mobilize resources that support sustainable development, environmental restoration, humanitarian aid, and community-driven innovation, aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), the Rotary 4-Way Test, and the Institute for Economics and Peace Positive Peace Framework.

To build a resilient, equitable, and thriving world by funding transformational projects that regenerate ecosystems, empower communities, advance education, promote peace, and accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral planet.
Strategic Focus Areas
The 7 Seas Foundation will support projects aligned with:
- United Nations SDGs (All 17 Goals)
- Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus (Peacebuilding, Disease Prevention, Water & Sanitation, Maternal & Child Health, Basic Education & Literacy, Economic Development, Environment)
- Drawdown.org Solutions (Scaling proven solutions to reduce atmospheric carbon and reverse climate change)
- Institute for Economics and Peace (Supporting the Positive Peace Index through projects fostering resilience, equity, and justice)
Initial Launch Goals (2025-2026)
- Fund 10 solar mini-grid installations across Central America and the Caribbean.
- Plant 50,000 trees through Volunteer Tourism carbon offset programs.
- Build 3 mobile clinics and 2 clean water units aboard The Phoenix Project.
- Remove 1,000 tons of river plastic through funded partnerships.
- Expand Rotary Reefs by deploying 100 reef modules using recycled glass.
- Award 50 microloans to women-led environmental startups.
